WELCOME TO THE MAGNOLIA CITY PARKS! ON BEHALF OF THE STAFF AT THE PARKS DEPARTMENT, WE WANT TO INVITE YOU TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE FAMILY FUN AND RECREATION OFFERED BY THE CITY OF MAGNOLIA.

The parks system includes a twenty acre "East Side Park", that includes a large playground area, picnic facilities,volleyball, basketball, and baseball areas. The 1/4 mile walking track is a great way to get needed exercise in a safe and friendly environment.

Eastside Park

South Side Park is a ten acre park that is the traditional location of the annual "Juneteenth" festival and offers an open air stage, basketball courts, baseball field, a variety of playground equipment,walking track and excellent picnic facilities.

The Cecil Traylor Memorial Garden, located on Union Street in downtown Magnolia, is a picturesque garden that offers a wonderful opportunity to relax in a wonderful environment that includes a myriad of beautiful plants and imaginative landscaping. This garden has also been a favorite with camerabuffs and couples looking for a quiet place for a wedding. Thanks to Lake Sue Nursery, Wal-Mart, and Atwoods, new mulch and flowers have been added to the garden this year.  www.cecilsgarden.org

The baseball complex located on Stadium Street includes four baseball fields that have been host to many exciting baseball and softball tournaments as well as much league playand practice. The sprawling area also includes the pavilion and parking for the MagnoliaFarmers Market, an opportunity for area farmers to sell their wares and local gourmets tofill their kitchens with delicious fresh vegetables.
